Deccan Odyssey Route – The Cultural Odyssey explores the hidden riches of India lie in its breathtaking beauty and its diversity of cultures. With this Journey you can embark on an unforgettable escapade that starts off with the capital city of Delhi. Guests journey their way through the vivid greens of Ranthambore to reach the iridescent lands of Jaipur. We then take our royal guests to the ancient capital city of Mughals, Fatehpur Sikri and then to Agra where they can witness the immortal sheen of the Taj Mahal. They soak in the regality of Gwalior and discover the sensuous moods of the temples of Khajuraho. Finally we reach the sacred city of Varanasi, and observe the divine beauty of River Ganges.

Itinerary

01 Day 1: ( Saturday) - Delhi

Board the Deccan Odyssey at the Delhi railway station and begin your enchanting journey, heading to the Tiger Park of Ranthambore!

02 Day 2 : ( Sunday ) - Sawai Madhopur

Arrive at Sawai Madhopur and spend a day in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, once the private hunting ground of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Enjoy a village safari visit the beautiful locales of Sawai Madhopur and an adventurous jungle safari.

03 Day 3 : ( Monday ) - Jaipur

Arrive at the historic capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur, often called the Pink City. Explore the forts and palaces with a walk through the colorful bazaars of this beautiful city.

04 Day 4 : ( Tuesday ) - Agra

Today the Deccan Odyssey arrives at the Mughal citadel of Agra. Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, and other architectural gems of the Mughal Empire, and the impressive Agra Fort.

05 Day 5 : ( Wednesday ) - Gwalior - Orchha

Today the Deccan Odyssey arrives at Gwalior, visit the Majestic Gwalior fort. Later board the train for Orchha. Visit the fort, visit the Temple, and experience village life as well.

06 Day 6 : ( Thursday ) - Khajuraho

Arrive at the historic city of Khajuraho, which beholds the World Heritage Monument the Chandela Temple complex. Visit the Mahadev Temple.

07 Day 7 : ( Friday ) - Varanasi

Arrive at Varanasi – The cradle of Mankind the oldest living city on this planet. Visit Temples & Ghat area, experience the lively bazaar and the mystic chaos. Enjoy a boat ride on the Holy Ganges.

08 Day 8 : ( Saturday ) - Delhi

Early this morning, after breakfast, you will disembark at Delhi Railway Station. Bid farewell to the Deccan Odyssey as your royal passage through the grand vistas of India comes to an end.Breakfast on board
